I have spent over half of my life explore the boreal forests of Minnesota. I have dedicated myself and my career to this region, it has become a part of who I am. Over this time I have been blessed to spend over 3.5 years cumulatively paddling, hiking, photographing and living camping in this region. My favorite pastime is to paddle through the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness (BWCAW) in Minnesota and document this pristine wilderness. I have been on over 60 lakes in this wilderness system, and this lake - Ram Lake, has always stood out. It embodies quintessential northern Minnesota. It is a small lake flanked by coniferous forest with a small cliff. One evening as I was drifting in the middle of the lake the setting sun illuminated the small cliff and forest in golden light. I stoop up in my canoe and captured this remarkable moment.

The Metal and Acrylic options are printed by one of the industry's best labs. Both options offer a clean modern appearance to the artwork, which looks as if it's floating off the wall with the included hanging hardware. The Metal prints are lightweight, durable and have a HD glossy finish that come ready to hang via float hanger attached to the back of the piece. The Acrylic prints are lustre fine-art paper mounted to 1/4" thick glossy acrylic with di-bond backing and a cleat hanger.
